It's been our experience that all ages can learn Pickleball and have a great time. We teach safety on the court to prevent possible injuries.

Coach John had a question last week from a player, "if she goes to the kitchen line but her partner wants to stay back and clean up any back shots, what should she do?" Coach said, "the player in the back is creating a huge hole in the middle and if her partner insists on staying back, she is responsible for covering the hole. Try to convince your partner to come up to the kitchen line as soon as possible by letting her know you are doing your best to cover the kitchen line where 75% of the game is played... at the kitchen line."

After a few lessons, you will learn the fundamentals. With practice and play in 2-3 months, you will continue to improve and get hooked like we did.

Safety guidelines, the importance of stretching, some history of the game, proper grip of paddle, the get-ready position, eye hand coordination drill with ball & paddle, practice with the unique dink shot, understanding the rules of the kitchen/non-volley zone, explanation of court positioning, serving, receiving and scoring.
